Yang Anqing received his PhD in English Literature from Peking University. He presently teaches English literature at Teachers’ College of Beijing Union University. His research interests include eighteenth-century English literature, the rise of the novel, stylistics and narratology. He has published The Eighteenth-Century English Novel – Theory & Criticism and articles on eighteenth-century English novels, literary theory and narratology.
