There are prominent structural problems in Chinese economy. The new normal proposed by the new government is aimed at solving these problems, as well as realizing the transformation and development of Chinese economy. This book studies how to achieve the structural transformation and update for the long-term growth. To study the interactions of industrial agglomeration of private economy, economic growth and regional urbanization process, it spreads out with an advancing main line of "development of private economy - urbanization process - agglomerate economic growth - diffusion of scale effect". It analyzes local government¡¯s role in expanding private economy through marketization and urbanization strategies. It observes the influence of private economic transformation on the regional urbanization process.
