From 1949 to 2019, a full 70 years have seen great achievements in China¡¯s
society, economics and other aspects. China has become the world¡¯s second
largest economic power from a poor and backward nation, and the social
outlook of it has also undergone earth-shaking changes.
During these 70 years, the Chinese people under the leadership of the
Communist Party of China have gone through multiple stages of exploration
in order to seek an economic system and a path of economic development
suited to their national conditions. They have built up a system of theories
of socialism with Chinese characteristics and blazed a path of development
of socialism with Chinese characteristics for national rejuvenation.

Zhang Huiming is professor and Ph.D. supervisor of economics at
Fudan University. He is the director of Department of Economics, Fudan
University. His research f ields are political economy, enterprise and
industrial economics, state-owned asset management.

Wang Dihai is professor and Ph.D. supervisor of economics at Fudan
University. He is the associate director of Department of Economics,
Fudan University. His research interests include macroeconomics, health
economics, income distribution and economic growth
